You decide the program

For a stay at yoga hotel Seeds of Silence, you have a choice of stays of 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 nights, depending on the available period. Every day, you follow 1,5 to 2 hours of yoga classes or workshops such as vinyasa, kundalini, yin yang flow and chinese medicine flow, restorative yoga, Qigong and sound healing or breathwork. We decide on the planning of these sessions together.

And you don’t have to do anything else! You simply decide how to spend your time during your stay. Ride an electric bike or mountainbike to the beach, use a boat, a kayak or a SUP to explore the surroundings, read a book by the pool or book a massage or coaching session to find peace and connection with yourself.

At Seeds of Silence, we pamper you with an extensive breakfast and brunch buffet that includes freshly baked breads, homemade granola, fresh juices, smoothies, cakes, local cheeses, fresh jams, vegetable spreads and more. The ingredients of our colorful dishes come straight from nature. A treat for the eye… and your taste buds. Our kitchen focuses on honest, healthy and organic food. Everything is crisp, fresh and homemade, allowing us to accommodate vegan, gluten- or lactose-free preferences. You are also welcome to take drinks from our honesty bar any time. What are you getting for sure?

  • Peace, space and time for yourself.
  • You share the yoga hotel with other guests and attend yoga sessions and workshops together. The content of the sessions is discussed together with the other guests.
  • We pay close attention to your personal wishes. Together, we look for what you need during a yoga holiday.
  • Morning or evening sessions (Breathwork, Soundhealing, 5 elements yoga, Q Flow with attention to Qigong and Vinyasa, Restorative yoga, meditation, Kundalini mix with breathwork movements).
  • Furthermore, you are completely free to organise your day.
  • Delicious breakfast and/or brunch with daily fresh and local products.
  • Our kitchen focuses on honest, healthy and organic food.
  • Everything is fresh and made by us, such as our homemade granola, fresh juices, smoothies, cakes, local cheeses, home-made jams, our own vegetable spreads, energy shots, etc.
  • We accommodate vegan, gluten- or lactose-free preferences.
  • Got some leftovers from brunch? Then we are happy to keep them in the fridge for you to enjoy at a later time that the day. You can also keep a plate in the fridge in your room for the evening.
  • On the day of arrival, brunch or a three-course dinner with soup, main course and dessert will be provided, depending on your arrival time.

What else do you get?

  • On the day of arrival, you will attend an evening class. On departure, depending on when you leave, you will have a final morning lesson.
  • Coffee, tea and water, snacks from the brunch throughout the day.
  • The sun, nature and silence as your best company.
  • Large heated salt pool.
  • Use of electric bikes, sauna and gym.

What is not included?

  • Flight to Portugal. The closest airport is Faro, but you can also land at Sevilla and Lisbon.
  • Transfer to and from the airport. A cab service is available upon request.
  • Dinner is not included. By electric bike or rental car, it takes 5 to 10 minutes to drive to nice restaurants nearby. The nearby town of Olhão is only 20 minutes away by bike and 7 minutes by car. Cindy is happy to share her recommendations with you.
  • Alcoholic drinks.
  • Massage or individual coaching sessions (€ 65 per hour).

Planning

Sample programme Solo Retreat

On the first day, we welcome you with a drink and a snack. You have plenty of time to explore your room, the property and the beautiful surroundings.

  • 5:30 p.m.: You land at Seeds Of Silence. You settle down completely with breathing techniques and mindfulness exercises.
  • 7 p.m.: You conclude your first day with a sumptuous welcome dinner.

The second day of the Small Retreat is all about rest and relaxation.

  • 8:30 a.m.: You enjoy a smoothie bowl full of energy. The ideal way to start the day.
  • 08.45 a.m.: Then you will start working on Yin Yang Yoga flow and breathing techniques. Wonderfully relaxing, strengthening and challenging to learn to let go!
  • 10 a.m.: After the first relaxing session, you enjoy a sumptuous breakfast/brunch.
  • 5 p.m.: The second session of the day focuses on gentle movements and exercises that tone the abdomen.
  • 6 p.m.: You follow up with a breathing session. In 1 hour, you will learn how to breathe correctly to optimize your self-awareness, inner strength and health of body and mind. By letting go, you make room for new thoughts and energy.
  • 7 p.m.: You end the day completely relaxed with a delicious dinner.

On Day 3, you provide a well-rounded program depending on your needs and wishes. You can fill in the free moments as you wish.

  • 8:30 a.m.: You start the day again with a delicious smoothie bowl full of energy.
  • 8:45 a.m.: This is followed by a Yoga Flow with stretching according to the 5 elements, including Chinese Medicine, Kundalini and Qigong. These exercises strengthen your organs and mind. An ideal way to release all stress from your body.
  • 10 a.m.: When your body and mind are fully stretched, you enjoy a delicious breakfast/brunch.
  • (Afternoon): You can explore the area and take a boat trip to one of the islands (Ilha do Farol, Ilha da Culatra, Ilha da Armona).
  • 5:30 p.m.: In the evening, you will enjoy a body scan session to make you fully aware of your body. This will strengthen the connection between your body and mind.
  • 8 p.m.: You close this richly filled day with a wonderful dinner.

After the relaxing sessions of the past few days, you will be enjoying a sporty day.

  • 8:30 a.m.: In the morning, you refuel your energy with a homemade smoothie bowl.
  • 8:45 a.m.: Then you will enjoy a Yin Yang Yoga flow and breathing techniques. This session is wonderfully relaxing and liberating, and it may very well bring new insights.
  • 10 a.m.: Then you take time for a sumptuous breakfast/brunch.
  • 11 a.m.: Subsequently, you will take our electric bikes to Ria Formosa, a nature reserve with a beautiful beach.
  • 6 p.m.: You end the day with a Sound Healing session and meditation through which you will enjoy complete relaxation.
  • 7 p.m.: You end the day with a dinner to remember.

Did you choose to stay 4 nights? Then you check out on day 5. You’ll enjoy another breakfast/brunch (fully included) and return home completely relaxed, recharged and with new insights.

Did you choose to stay 5 nights? Then you will have another day of rest and relaxation.

  • 8:30 a.m.: You start your last day with a smoothie bowl, the ideal energy booster.
  • 8:45 a.m.: This is followed by a Yoga Flow with stretching according to the 5 elements, including Chinese Medicine, Kundalini and Qigong. These exercises strengthen your organs and mind. Stretching the energy pathways allows you to let go more easily and be present in the now. You become at one with yourself and gain a healthier and freer body.
  • 10 a.m.: When your body and mind are fully stretched, you enjoy a delicious breakfast/brunch.
  • (Afternoon): In the afternoon you are free to fill your day as you wish. You can use the electric bikes, sauna and swimming pool. You can also opt for a walking tour, a visit to the islands, a trip to the beach or the city. You choose what suits you best at that moment.
  • 6 p.m.: You will conclude your Solo retreat with a breathing session. In 1 hour, you will learn how to breathe correctly to optimize your self-awareness, inner strength and health of body and mind. By letting go, you make room for new thoughts and energy.
  • 7:30 p.m. You conclude your Solo Retreat with a final dinner.

If you have opted for a 5-night stay, you will check out on day 6 with a breakfast/brunch (fully included). You will return home completely relaxed, recharged and with new insights.
